  2. Please stand for the pledge: I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

  3. Please remain standing for the Texas Pledge: Honor the Texas flag: I pledge allegiance to thee Texas, one state, under God, one and Indivisible. Please be seated for a moment of silence

  4. YEARBOOKS Yearbooks are on sale in the front office for $30. Please see Ms. Bartay to purchase yours today. Remember there will be a yearbook signing party at the end of the year, and only those who purchase yearbooks will get to attend.

  5. Weekly Club Meetings: Dimension U (formerly Tabula Digita) – Meets Tuesday afternoons until 5:30 PM in Room 2708 (upstairs computer lab) Christian Club – Meets Thursday mornings in Room 1701 at 8:10 AM NJHS Recycle Club – meets Thursday afternoons. Chess Club – Friday afternoons in Room 1809 until 6 PM

  6. Student Council This week's Student Council meeting is moved to Thursday at 8:20 before school in room 1806.   Come help plan our final projects of the year!

  8. Attention 8th Graders Attending Spring High School Next Year!!! The Theatre Department at Spring High School is currently in the process of casting their children's show for next school year.  They will be doing The Jungle Book.  They are looking to cast any 8th graders that will be freshmen next year at Spring High School. When:  May 14th, 2013 5-6 PM Where:  DMS Stage No experience is necessary.  You MUST come by and see Mrs. Knott in order to receive a packet and your intention to attend auditions.  They will not let you audition without a completed packet.  The last day to receive a packet and sign up for auditions with Mrs. Knott is Wednesday, May 8th! Break A Leg!!!!

  9. Generation Texas Day is TOMORROW, May 3. Spring ISD is inviting staff and students to wear a college shirt to school on May 3 to encourage the current generation of Texas students to continue their education beyond high school. So students, you may wear a college t-shirt or sweatshirt tomorrow, but you must still wear dress code appropriate bottoms.

  10. Anyone with information concerning the felony arson (burning) of the storage building at the back of the Dueitt campus is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477. All information provided is confidential.
