Did you know?Facts about the TUC website • Your user group leader can • Do a quick poll AND a survey of its members • Post presentations and documents from these meetings and other presentations that you’ve see at other meetings • Elect to have a Virtual user group meeting (presentations, conference call and chat all via web and phone) • Provide FREE certification and education session at your meetings to draw in new members and satisfy your current membership • Youcan • Sign up to become a “helping hand” in the Peer to Peer Knowledge Exchange (P2P) • Download and Upload documents and best practices via the Tivoli Information Exchange (TIE) • Post comments and presentations in various sections of the website through the “Be heard” capability. • Network with the community - Search members by type role, company type, industry, products, user group, etc...

Update your profile and opt-in preferences enabling you to network with other community members and create your own customized news content.. more info NEW TUC Member Profiles Platform!   12. New Community Video Gallery! Here you'll find videos of all kinds - expert interviews, product overviews, and how-to videos from members of the Global Tivoli Community and IBMers alike that provide insights to Tivoli-based and related solutions. We will also showcase videos about the community - user group meetings, Tivoli User Community activities at Pulse and other relevant content. Share your video with the Community! Are you an amateur camcorder enthusiast? Do you like to capture Tivoli related events and happenings on video? Are you a vlogger? If you answered yes to any of the questions above or you have a video that you think is relevant to the different sections in our Video Gallery and TUC Channel, send it to us so we can get them included.

This collaboration tool is available to all Global Tivoli User Community members to collaborate on topics of interest including Tivoli products, specific user groups, etc. Are you interested in starting a forum specifically for your user group or a specific Tivoli related topic? Request to start a forum here!

Learn multiple perspectives, opinions and helpful hints and tips from your fellow community members on an array of Tivoli related topics. Why you should contribute: All of you have unique opinions, tips and other information to share that can help others. Your feedback, suggestions and opinions on Tivoli related topics matter. Develop an online following made up of your peers.

Pulse 2010: User Community Networking Area • What is the User Community Networking Area at Pulse? • The user community networking area is your one-stop shop for networking at Pulse, • Meet your peers, create or update your user community profile (and receive a free gift!) • Learn to use social media tools, or record a quick podcast or video Open During All Expo Hours EXPO HALL HOURS Sunday: 6:30 – 9:00 pm Monday: 12:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday: 12:00 – 6:00 pm Wednesday: 12:00 – 4:00 pm WHEN: During Expo Solution Hours WHERE: Marquee Ballroom, end of Aisle 600/wall of facility HOW, will people know? • Email through TUC prior to conference • Flyer in the badge at the PULSE check in HOW, does it work? • At the entrance, TUC staff members will answer questions and direct them to the tables, computers, education or videoing areas • Tables are for general relaxing, networking for clients and BPs • Computers are for updating profiles/new membership and training on www.tivoli-ug.org and communities on ibm.com • Social Media experts assigned to area to help educate and network using the screen and LCD projector • RESULTS: • 6500 people walked through the Lounge and Networking Area • 67 people signed up in the Networking Area for www.tivoli-ug.org(997 people total sign ups through Pulse registration and onsite) • 93 updated profiles “The User Community Networking Area/Client Hospitality Lounge was great as it provided a space to relax for a few minutes, talk to a few folks, and grab a snack. I especially liked having a chance to meet you [Danyel] and talk to you and Ahmondyllah.” ~ Celeste Grone, Ohio Health “I enjoyed the User Community Lounge because it was a great meeting point to share ideas with other user community members.” ~ Wolfgang Schumacher, ACT IT-Consulting & Services AG
