STOP…LOOK…LISTEN • Read Luke 4:14-15,22,32; 5:26; 9:42-43 • What words are used to describe people’s reactions to Jesus the first time they met Him? • Read Matt. 16:13-26 • Who did Peter say Jesus is? • How had Peter reached this conclusion? • God proved it by the miracles Jesus worked • Who do non-believers today say Jesus was? • A myth, a philosopher, a prophet…but not God’s Son • What is the rock upon which Jesus would build His Church? • The fact of His identity as the Son of God • What did Jesus tell His apostles would happen to Him? • What did Jesus tell His apostles they would have to do to follow Him?
