This study examines the morphologies and star formation histories of massive galaxies at redshifts greater than 1.3, utilizing data from the CDFS and techniques such as color evolution and spectral classification. We analyze the properties of star-forming and passive galaxies, revealing that massive red galaxies show little evolution in their colors, spectral features, luminosities, and stellar masses from z ~ 2 to z ~ 1. This research highlights the implications for our understanding of galaxy formation and assembly in the early universe.
