  6. General Instructions Please come early to class. Try to leave an empty seat on both sides of you.

  7. General Instructions • Do not talk during the exam. • No hats of any kind. • No electronic devices. • Turn off those dang beeping devices!

  9. General Instructions • When you are finished the exam, do not leave! • Close the exam so the front cover is facing up. • Do not gather your stuff until you are dismissed. Wait to be dismissed.

Reminder • Class Attendance Policy • Carrot • 0 unexcused absences = +4% of total grade • 1 unexcused absence = +2% of total grade • Stick • For 2nd and each subsequent unexcused absence =–2% point of total grade • 7 = 50% deduction of total grade (failure) Attendance Quiz: (1) Your Name (2) Today’s Date (3) Your Section Number

  12. Come Early! • Exam starts at the top of the hour • If you finish early, • check your work • actually redo it in your head • close exam and wait patiently • wait to be dismissed
