Introduction Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I would like to point out differences between book and movie and decide what is better - book or movie.
students were dressed in sweaters and jeans • they should be dressed in habits according to book
He is peaceful person and I do not like how a nerve-strain he was in film. • He is always dressed in nice habit but in film he looks like a hippie. • Dumbledore is described as a tall and thin man with long silver hair and long beard. He has blue eyes, a very long and crooked nose and long fingers. He wears half-moon spectacles. • His knitted beard and his rags do not represent his highness.
Hermione was described as a girl with big front teeth and wild curls but this actress wasno t as ugly as she was described.Professor Snape was described as a man with big nose, oily hair and thin face but it was not the same.
Ron and Harry prepare to school Ron has a very funny habit for celebrations. All the laces, flounces and When they are travelling to school by Hogwarts express his schoolmate, Draco Malfoy, notices this habit in his coffer and says:“ It was worn in 1 89….” Ron interrupts him and says: “Eat scat off, Malfoy…” Ron tries this habit on before Yule Ball and he says: „It looks like aunt Tessy ´s clothes.” He smells it under armpit and says: “It smells like aunt Tessy too.”
schools arrive on October 30th • There are no special presentations from the schools • Both schools have students of both genders • schools arrive on September 1st • schools present themselves to Hogwarts with a dance presentation • Beauxbatons is an all-girls school, while Durmstrang is all-boys.
in book Hagrid says Harry about first task In film he finds out about dragons from Ron everything happens only in the fence In comparison with film, they chase around all Hogwarts and it is really dramatic.
Film: jumping from the bridgethe merpeople attack HarryBook:they are smiling at him and "attack" only when he tries to rescue the other people.
I admire writer ´s talent, fantasy, sense of humour and ability to imagine being in the position of every character. If I had not read the book I would not have understood many things. The book is better because you imagine everything according to you but in film you see only director’s imaginations.
Thank ´s for your attention
