  4. Working Group Purpose & Roles • Purpose: • Increase levels of(physical activity in the Banyule community • Roles: • Integrated planning & coordination • Advocacy - support to access, transport, cost • Information exchange • Good practice learning • Resource seeking & negotiation

Working Group Opportunities • DHS Good Practice Project grant • evaluating WG partnership quality and outcomes • ‘road testing” Environments for Health Framework, • Banyule Nillumbik Primary Care Alliance Electronic Physical Activity Web-page • G.P’s Active Script Program - initiative between local leisure centres & General Practitioners

  6. Working Group Challenges • Resources & Partner Mandate/s: • Some potential actions constrained by lack of resources - staff time,continuity & skills. Operating budgets already committed • Cross sector partners with different mandates, service targets & organisational cultures • Complexity of information, service and funding systems
