  3. Kristy Nilsson has performed with Atlanta Ballet and Charleston Ballet Theatre

  4. Her choreographyhas been performed by ten companies in six states:Houston, TXOklahoma City, OKAtlanta, GAAsheville & High Point, NC Roanoke, VAKnoxville & Chattanooga, TN

  6. Ms. Nilsson was named the sole 2003 runner-up for -The Project: Choreographic CommissionThe highest award given by Regional Dance America & SERBA

  7. In 2004, Ms. Nilsson was commissioned by Gwinnett Ballet Theatre to create all-new choreography for their annual, full-length production of The Nutcracker.

  8. The Nutcracker was a tremendous success,with sixteen sold-out and near sold-out shows, and was restaged for 2005.

  9. In 2006, Ms. Nilsson was invited byThe Georgia Ballet to set a new work ontheir Professional Company.
