  1. 09/22/97 Product Overview

  2. Product Index • Suction, Low Pressure (<200 psi) • Medium Pressure (<1000 psi) • High Pressure • Offline/Portable • Accessories

  3. Suction, Low Pressure • 12AT/50AT • FT • RTB • RF4 • Moduflow • RF7

  4. Suction Filter • Disadvantages • Must use relatively • coarse media, or • large housing size • to keep pressure drop low. • Cost is relatively high. • Does not protect • downstream components • from pump wear debris. • May not be suitable for many • variable volume pumps • Advantages • Last chance protection • for the pump. • Much easier to service • than a sump strainer.

  5. Return Filter • Disadvantages • Does not protect specific • components • No protection from pump • generated contamination. • Return line flow surges • may reduce filter performance. • Advantages • Catches wear debris from • components and dirt entering • through worn cylinder rod seal • before it enters the reservoir. • Lower pressure ratings result • in lower costs. • May be in-line or in-tank for • easier installation.

  6. 12AT/50AT • 150 psi MAOP • Flows to 50 gpm • NPT or SAE ports • Color coded gages • Private label opportunities

  7. FT Series • Replaces 10/20/30RF • Same mounting • Same elements • New integral breather option • Optional dipstick • Optional fill port • All metal design

  8. FT Series Features Optional Fill Port Cast Aluminum Cover Optional Breather Assembly Optional Dipstick Steel Bowl (FTA & FTB) Bypass Assembly Optional Bowl Adapter

  9. RTB Series • Multi-functional Design • 0-150 psi, 45 gpm • Applications • Mobile Equipment • Turf Maintenance Equipment • Compact Industrial Power Units

  10. RF4 • 200 psi MAOP • Flows to 120 gpm • All steel housing • Ideal for customer specials • Quick release cover

  11. Moduflow • 200 psi MAOP • Flows to 120 gpm • Versatile porting configurations • Differential pressure indicators • Closed bottom elements not widely will-fitted

  12. RF7 • 150 psi MAOP • Flows to 300 gpm • Tank top design w/ integral flange • Dual inlet option • Element changed as a cartridge assembly • No tools servicing

  13. Medium Pressure Filters • IL8 • CN Series • Medium Pressure Duplex (MPD)

  14. IL8 • 500 psi MAOP • Flows to 400+ gpm • Bowl up design • Bypass w/ o-ring for zero leakage • “Coreless” elements • LL8 porting option

  15. CN Series • Higher pressures, now 1000 psi • Rated fatigue 800 psi • Side seal bowl • Integral cartridge bypass valve • Universal indicator

  16. High Pressure Filters • 15/30P • 30PD • 50P • 18/28/38P

  17. Pressure Filter • Advantages • Specific component protection • Contributes to overall system • cleanliness level • Can use high efficiency, fine filtration • filter elements • Catches wear debris from pump • Disadvantages • Housing is relatively • expensive because it must • handle full system pressure. • Does not catch wear debris • from downstream working • components.

  18. 15/30P • 3000 psi MAOP (2000 fatigue) • Flows to 45 gpm • Anodized aluminum hsg. • SAE or manifold ports • 2000 & 3000 rated elements • Same indicators as CN series

  19. 50P series • 5000 psi MAOP (3500 fatigue) • Flows to 120 gpm • Bowl up design • Meets HF4 standard • Manifold option • Mechanically linked indicators • 50PR reverse flow option

  20. 18/28/38P Series

  21. Offline / Portable • Guardian • Filter Cart

  22. Off-line Filter • Disadvantages • No direct component protection. • Initial cost is relatively high. • Requires more space than • system filter • Advantages • Servicing is possible without loss • of production. • Fixed flow rate eliminates • surges, allowing for optimal • element life and performance. • Fluid cooling may be easily • incorporated. • Continuous “polishing” of the main • system fluid, even if the system is • shut down • Specific cleanliness levels can • be accurately obtained and maintained. • Supercharging can be incorporated

  23. Guardian • 4 gpm • Geroter style pump • Integral relief • Visual indicator • Standard hose and wands

  24. Filter Cart • 5 gpm (<3000 sus) • 10 gpm (<500 sus) • Excellent location for Par-Gel • Standard hose and wands • Two stage filtration

  25. Reservoir Accessories • Suction Strainers • Filler Breathers • Diffusers • Temperature / Level Gauges

  26. TriCeptor Breathers • Introduced January 1998 • Completes the “total system care” approach • Spin-on upgrade

  27. TriCeptor Features Silica Gel Foam Pads Activated Carbon Filter Pads Foam Pad Molded Housing Air Intakes
