Samsung and Verizon has recently announced on Monday the roll out of first ever 5G commercial smartphone will be as soon as the early 2019 in the United States. A joint statement by the US carrier and the south korean smartphone maker Samsung said that the new device will be powered by a flagship SoC by Qualcomm. not only samsung in looking to launch a 5G smartphone, As per reports apple will launch 5G smartphone by 2020. Both the companies will soon reveal a proof of concept a model that will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X50 5G NR modem. A official statement by samsung head, DJ Koh stated that galaxy S10 will not be the first 5G smartphone and rebutted the speculations. The korean device maker has also unveiled a 5G modem The Exynos 5100 that reveals that the samsung is ready to launch the smartphone in near future . "5G will usher in a new era of mobile connectivity, allowing people to connect to data, experiences and other in ways never thought possible," said Brian Higgins, Vice President, Wireless Device and Product Marketing at Verizon.
