Enhancing Student Development Through Other Learning Experiences and Profiles

The Other Learning Experiences (OLE) and Student Learning Profile (SLP) frameworks aim to broaden students' horizons, foster lifelong interests, and nurture positive values. Through various activities in Moral and Civic Education, Community Service, Aesthetic Development, Physical Development, and Career-related Experiences, students accomplish a holistic educational journey. Additionally, the SLP documents achievements and competencies beyond academics, offering valuable insights during faculty interviews. This initiative empowers students to showcase their whole-person development, preparing them for future challenges.

  2. Other Learning Experiences (OLE) • Aims: • To widen students’ horizon • To develop lifelong interests • To nurture positive values and attitudes • To realize the curriculum goal of whole person and balanced development • To develop the lifelong learning capabilities

  5. Student Learning Profile (SLP) • Purpose: • To provide supplementary information on secondary school leavers’ competencies and specialties, for giving a fuller picture of the students.

  6. Student Learning Profile (SLP) • Content: • Academic performance in school • Other Learning experiences • Awards/ achievements gained outside schools

  10. Every student will be given a student learning profile in their SS3. Students could submit their summarized student learning profiles or show their portfolios to faculties during interview. The University will accept it as a reference document that provides additional information on students’ whole person development.
