  8. EPD Co. Ltd. DICOM Server • The Core part of a PACS server is a software called DICOM Server. • Its purpose is to receive DICOM images from any node in the network such as different modalities, or to list studies on a workstation and directly retrieve the ones of interest. www.epd.ir
