  3. How do they practice their religion? • Go in the church • Pray to God • Live the way God told them to live • Trying to live following the Golden rules • Celebrate different holidays which are part to their religion

What are important or famous places of worship? • Church is a place where Christian people pray • They believe that church is a home of God • They go to church every Sunday • All people are welcome to go in the church • Christian people pray in churches • Listening to the Pope • Learning about their religion

What religious text does Christians follow? • Bible=rules for Christians • Have to follow 10 commandments • God created the earth • Ppl hear God’s voices through Holy Spirit • Christian life=pray and worship • There is one God=created the earth • Holy spirit= God’s presences • Jesus=Son of God • God is going to come to earth • First Christians=Jews • By 392, Christians became official religion

The ten commandments • 1. you have no other Gods be4 me • 2.you shall not take the name of Lord • 3.observe the sabbathday to keep it holy • 4.honor your parents • 5.you shall not kill • 6.neither shall you commit adultery • 7.neither shall you kill • 8.neither shall you bear false withness • 9.neither shall you covet your neighbor’s wife • 10. neither shall you not desire your neighbor’s thing

What are the major holidays celebrated? • Good Fridays=carries epitahuis around church • A Devent= ppl prepare for Christmas • Epiphany= remembrance of Wiseman • All saint’s day • Thanks giving= thank God for food • Feast on Easter • Christmas= the day Jesus is born • Easter= the day Jesus died • Lent=ppl prepare for Easter • Ascension=celebration of Jesus return to heaven

What are some of their major holidays? • Advent, is time when Christians prepare for Christmas • Christmas, celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ • Epiphany, remembers the story of men who found baby Jesus • Lent, when Christians prepare for Easter • Easter, remembers the death, resurrection of Jesus
