Enjoy highlights from our Christmas activities, important dates, and suggestions for home practice. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Don't forget to read for 15 minutes nightly and practice cutting, zipping, and counting with your child. Sleeping bags will be sent home for the break.   1. 4K Newsletter December 19, 2013 This Week We are still having fun doing lots of Christmas activities. We decorated the trees we had sponge painted last week and played a Santa’s Beard Bingo. We played a letter matching game with “Silver Bells” and got our gifts ready to take home. We had a great time at our party today and wish to thank everyone who donated their time and supplies to help make it a success. • Important Dates • Friday, December 20th: • Last day of school • before winter break • Ceremony at 8:15 Am • Mini Powwow in PM • Monday, January 6th: • School resumes We would like to wish Everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. • Things to Work On At Home • Cut, Cut, Cut: Have your child practice cutting simple shapes with control. • Practice zipping, snapping, buttoning, getting boots and • shoes on • Practice printing first name • Practice counting to 20 and higher and counting objects • Read to your child for 15 minutes nightly Sleeping Bags Sleeping bags will be sent home tomorrow.
