Sometimes, if these actions are not accomplished, you might have panic attacks. Many people use the words "obsessive compulsive" to describe someone who is extremely neat or orderly. But this trait only becomes a disorder when their habits or actions start to keep them from enjoying every day life. If you have an Obsessive Compulsive Anxiety Disorder, you might go to bathroom every hour, even in the middle of class or an important discussion just to wash your hands. Some people even drive all the way back home from their office just to check on their windows or doors for fear of burglars. Although an obsessive anxiety is a serious disorder and can affect many lives, there are effective treatments available to help you, if you have this disorder. Another type of therapy that has been proven to be effective is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, where doctors aim to change your way of thinking so you can handle stressful situations better.
