  1. The case of the missing children BY Donovan B.

  2. One sunny day two kids named John and Sam went out to play, it was Halloween tomorrow. Almost everyone was getting ready. Some were buying costumes, and others were setting things up around the house. John and Sam were done setting up before the others because they set up so early.

  3. They LOVED Halloween! It was their favorite holiday of the year because you get candy, but they REALLY LOVED haunted houses. They loved haunted houses because they liked scary stuff.

  4. Their mom said, “I am going to the store, you guys get ready and then you can go out trick-or-treating,ok’’.

  5. “Love you guys see you later.” First they got a hand full of candy, and then they went to a haunted house. They saw the man who owned it outside.

  6. “Can we come in?”asked John and Sam ‘’Sure ,but I have to warn you it is extremely scary,’’ said the owner of the haunted house.

  7. “That’s OK,”they both said at once. They went in and it was so big, they got lost. They were never found again, (even though their mom continued to look for them for many months).

  8. But every once in a while, when you passed by the house you might hear screaming.
