This initiative focuses on developing a regional Health Technology Assessment (HTA) framework through peer-to-peer learning, sharing best practices, and stakeholder engagement. Key components include awareness raising, training workshops on rapid reviews and cost-effectiveness analysis, gap assessments, and building technical capacities in HTA methodologies. Participants will conduct assessments of disease burden and develop guidelines and proposals for larger projects. Collaboration and joint outputs will be pursued to enhance the effectiveness of HTA in tobacco control across countries.
