  4. The spiders silk • Spiders use silk to escape enemies. • Some spiders have 5 kinds of silk. • As soon as silk hits the air it hardens.

  5. Web building spiders • Spiders spin the simplest kind of silk. • Spiders build new homes every night. • Spiders put some kind of oil on their webs to not get stuck on it.
