Real time information • Predictions & ETA • The position of the vehicle is acquired by TMUevery second. • From the GPS and gyroscope position as well as odometer of the bus the advanced algorithm in the Telargo mobile unit performs dead reckoning and on route matching. • On route data is send to the server every 30 seconds. • Arrival and departure times form stops, door opening times and route durations are transmitted to the server. • Arrivals are calculated for all buses currently on route and for scheduled buses in advance. • Smart bus stop • Innovative aspect • Dedicated short range communication • Arrived / departed Treviso May 18, 2011
