  1. The case of good teaching practice –A CASE OF SUCCESSFUL TEACHING APPROACH TEAM WORK WITH THE ELEMENTS OF THE PROJECT APPROACH

  2. 1. The scope of work • entrepreneurship • the development of entrepreneurial ideas and bussines plan

  3. 2. Problem design • project from the entrepreneurship, based on solving a specific, concrete problem

  4. 3. Teamwork • introduction of teamwork – roles, synergy… • distribution into groups/teams (of 5 students) • determine the roles of the groupmembers in general • for each activity/phase roles within a group should be changed • purpose: all members can try in every and all roles

  5. 4. Explanation of the theoretical background of the project work • explanation of the project approach – methodological and by the content: • explaination of each and every phase/stage before working on a phase • use of form(s) designed specially for each phase as a methodological guide for the implementation of the phase • material: business plan manual

  6. 5. Goal oriented work • search for business ideas – work within groups • purpose: each team is developing their own idea (problem) • work on concrete cases • Our experience: • several case studies have already been realized in practice 

  7. 6. Schedule • making schedule and network plan for realization of the project: • temporal definition of execution and realization of the plan • determine responsibility for the execution of individual task

  8. 7. Work on own projects • Each group work on its own case: • supported by “form(s)” and teachers counseling • as a homework (for continuation and finalization of the content of each and every phase): • manageable volume – defined on the form • purpose: • application of the knowledge in their case • prepare the background for the next phase • Intermediate presentations of the findings at the beginning of the next phase • purpose: open discussion (both conceptual and methodological) to improve/check the work

  9. 8. Final presentation of business plan • according to the rules of elevator- and hall-pitch • purpose: evaluating the business plan in terms of potential investors

  10. CONCLUSION:Our experience with this approach • great motivation of students • because they develop their own entrepreneurial ideas (and not imaginary problems) • students are having fun: • they prove it by the inventive and high quality presentations at the end of the study • active cooperation of students in the intermediate open discussions at every phase • with the intention of learning, not criticizing
