Issues of Validity and Reliability • Important to engage with employers & transfer institutions; • Clarity to employers regarding what they are getting; • Clarity to students about attainment of specific skill sets; and • Develop a crosswalk document and clearly define credentials received on transcripts.

What Competencies ? • Measurable, observable behavior. “The student can…” • analyze sources of financing for business; • identify and define the main forms of business organizations; • define and use marketing terminology and concepts; • use Total Quality Management practices to address a problem; • convey information by creating charts and graphs...
