  1. How is The Microphone Being Tested? If you experience any kind of minor issue with your microphone and are unsure whether the microphone is damaged or not, then it's time to perform an online microphone test. With the help of the microphone test, a person will be able to find out whether the microphone is working properly or not. Sometimes, the microphone might not work due to any kind of damage within the microphone. Other times, the microphone could stop functioning due to external factors, such as connectivity issues or software issues. After performing an online mic test, you will be able to find out what exactly is causing the problem in the microphone of your computer. To test the microphone of your computer, first of all, it has to be determined if the browser of your computer supports functions for accessing multimedia devices. If the browser does support this task, then you are all ready for testing your microphone. You need to choose a website that can perform the microphone test. Once you open the website, a list of microphones detected by the website and the necessary controls are displayed on the screen. Next, you might see a button like “Test my mic” on your screen, and you would have to click the button. Once you have clicked on the button, your browser will ask for some permissions to be granted to start the microphone on this site. Once you have granted access, the microphone will be forced to start and you will see the visualizer of sounds on the screen that was captured by your microphone.
