Barriers to Bringing Projects to the CDM Market • High transaction cost of validation/registration till verification of CDMable projects and lack of access to potential funding mechanisms to cover such costs particularly if incurred before project generates sufficient income • Absence of institutionalized support for linking CDMable projects to potential sources of funding of transaction costs and buyers of CERs
