  3. APO LEADS SERVE Course • Baltimore, Maryland: June 29-July 1 • Cleveland, Ohio: June 22-24* • LAUNCH is a prerequisite. • Register at www.apo.org. *Content training, too.

  4. APO LEADS SERVE Course • Actives (Students)/Advisors: $55 • Alumni: $75 • Includes: all Saturday meals, breakfast Sunday, & hotel (2 nights). • Life Members save $5.

  5. National Marketing Program Studying our Strengths, Setting our Standards, and Sharing our Story. Let’s MARKET !

  6. Marketing Program • Plans for National Programs • Marketing plan (awareness). • Branding plan (identity). • Graphics standards. • Media coverage catalog. • High school outreach program. • Plans for Chapter Level Resources • Tips/templates: marketing, media, etc.

  8. New Membership Fees • New fees effective August 1, 2007. • Pledge Fee: $25 • Initiation Fee: $35 • AAMD: $25

  9. General Liability Insurance • $7 annual fee begins in August. • Covers all members if the Chapter is in Good Standing. • Does Not Cover: • Medical related issues. • Acts violating policies. • Acts resulting out of negligence. • Illegal acts.

  10. The 1925 Club • Students who donate $19.25 to the APO Annual Fund. • Lapel pin & name in Torch and Trefoil.

  11. Annual Audit Required • Every Chapter needs to have its financial records audited annually. “The financial records of each Chapter shall be audited annually by an official approved by the institution in which the Chapter is located, and a confirmation of the audit will be sent to the National Office upon request by the National Executive Director.” Alpha Phi Omega National Bylaws Article IX Section 18.

  15. Spring Youth Service Day • Theme: “Service with youth and/or Service Benefiting Youth.” • Dates: April 20-22, 2007(suggested) • *Reports Due: May 1, 2007 *Required See SYSD handbook.

  16. Youth Service Grants • $100-$500 Grants: for youth based service projects. • Applications due next winter. • Email: Grant@apo.org

  17. National Service Week • Theme: “Serving Children with Disabilities.” • Dates: November 4-10, 2007 • *Reports Due: November 15, 2007 *Required

  19. National Volunteer Conference • Dates: Thursday July 26th, 8 PM – Sunday July 29th, Noon • Location: Independence, Missouri Hilton Garden Inn • Cost: $75 per person (*Triple) * $150 double occupancy/$250 single occupancy
