  2. Orville Redenbacher was born on July 16, 1970 in Brazil, Indiana. After graduating from the top 5% of his class he then attended Purdue University where he then studied agronomy. After graduating from Purdue, he ran a profitable fertilizer company and focused on creating the perfect popcorn in his spare time. He dedicated his whole life to creating the perfect popcorn. Orville Redenbacher and his partner Charlie Bowman went into business and together created their version of the perfect popcorn. Orville Redenbacher: His early life

  3. Orville Redenbacher died in Coronado, California on September 19, 1995 after suffering from a heart attack while in his Jacuzzi and drowned. He was cremated and his ashes were scattered at sea.
