Friday Bell Work Instructions for "To Kill a Mockingbird"

Welcome! Please have your binder open to the Bell Work section on your desk. Ensure your "To Kill a Mockingbird" book has a number and sign the sheet as it’s passed around. Review the SOAPStone sheet from yesterday to prepare for our graded discussion. Class participation will be assessed using the rubric provided, with a total of 15 formative points available. During Sustained Silent Reading (SSR), stay in your assigned seat with your book, track your progress, and record your responses in your journal when the timer goes off.

Look at our BW for FRIday: • [15 min] BELL WORK CHECK AND TKaM BOOK CHECKOUT • Have your binder open to the bell work section on your desk. • Make sure your To Kill a Mockingbird book has a number on it. • As the sign out sheet is passed around, write the number and sign your initials. • Look over SOAPStone sheet from yesterday to prepare for graded discussion.
