  2. S.T.E.M. -- reference to the fields that scientists, engineers and mathematicians work. Science, Math and Technology teachers are STEM educators working in STEM education. S.T.E.M. education has been around for years, and years… Integrative curriculum, thematic units, interdisciplinary study, etc. Integrative S.T.E.M. Education: “teaching and learning between/among any two or more of the S.T.E.M. subject areas, and/or between a S.T.E.M. subject and one or more other school subjects.” S.T.E.M.
