On March 18, 2011, ninety individuals from diverse backgrounds in Minnesota volunteered to serve as workgroup members, representing communities, healthcare systems, education, and government. These groups aimed to develop and implement objectives for the Minnesota Oral Health Plan, focusing on optimal oral health for all residents. Key tasks included communication, partnership building, and workforce development. Led by dedicated chairs and supported by the Minnesota Department of Health, the coalition aimed to transform strategies into actionable plans, fostering improved access, prevention, and education in oral health.
