Comprehensive Strategies for Pressure Ulcer Prevention in Nursing: A Stakeholder Approach
This synthesis analyzes evidence-based practices for preventing pressure ulcers as part of a nursing program at Bemidji State University. Focusing on a stakeholder PICOT question, the research evaluates perceptions of prevention strategies and proposes actionable changes in practice. By integrating collaborative efforts among care providers, patients, and families, we aim to enhance patient outcomes and promote best practices in pressure ulcer management. A visual representation of the proposed changes will help clarify the implementation strategy for effective prevention.
