  3. EU-funded exchange programme for entrepreneurs from the EU members states and 10 additional countries. • 1-6 months exchanges for new entrepreneur (NE) with experienced entrepreneur (HE) abroad • Opportunity to exchange knowledge, business ideas, contacts and experiences

  5. Feedback & Payment Stayabroad Contracting &Preparing 5 Steps of the exchange: Matching Online Application NE – New Entrepreneur HE – Host Entrepreneur IO – Intermediary Organisation

STEP 1: Online application Application fromNE (needs: business plan, CV, motivation); OR HE states interest to participate(needs: CV and motivation); Applications checked by IO; > Admission to on-line catalogue How to apply? : www.erasmus-entrepreneurs.eu NE – New Entrepreneur HE – Host Entrepreneur IO – Intermediary Organisation

  7. STEP 2: Searching & Matching Entrepreneurs search for partners - on-line-catalogue, themselves IOs contact other IOs in other countries to "recruit" a suitable Entrepreneur Automatic matching based on profiles > Proposalsareestablished

  8. STEP 3: Contracting and preparation Negotiations on duration, objectivesandcontent > NOT traineeship! Agreement on thecontentoftheexchange NE does pre-departure induction NE receives a grant

  9. STEP 4: Stayabroad Duration: 1-6 months; On-the-job , Peer‑to‑peer training, working on concreteprojects On-site support provided to the NE by the Host IO Reporting about the exchange.

  10. STEP 5: Feedback and final payment Electronic feedback questionnaiers for HE and NE Final paymentto NE upon sucessfulcompletion Re-insertion of HE intothecatalogue (if inter-estedtocontinue)

  11. EYE - general framework EUROPEAN COMMISSION – Definition of strategic and financial framework EASME - Contracting Authority and grant management SUPPORT OFFICE – day-to-day operational management

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs • 2009-2017 Achievements: • Successful proof of concept • 50 M EUR in 9 Calls (Call 10to belaunched Q1) • 4500 exchanges (i.e. 9000 entrepreneurs involved) • 13000 entrepreneurs registeredin the database (leading: IT, ES, UK, DE, RO) • Intermediary Organisations: 173 in 30 countries
