This project aims to address the significant weakness in reading and reading comprehension at Bosse High School, where over half of the freshmen (52.5%) were found to be at least three grade levels below in reading according to NWEA scores. The initiative focuses on developing reading skills through daily classes using the Pearson AMP Reading program and various instructional strategies. The ultimate goal is to elevate students to grade level within the academic year, leading to improved overall performance and a greater enjoyment of reading.
