Genesis 15:1 • After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I [am] thy shield, [and] thy exceeding great reward.
Matthew 25:24-25, 30 • Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: • And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, [there] thou hast [that is] thine. • And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Genesis 15:17 • And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.
