On October 25th, a vibrant group from Central New Jersey and beyond gathered for an engaging live dance performance at Brith Sholom House. Led by Naomi, the ensemble included performers from various locations who participated in sharing culture through dance. The event featured audience interaction, allowing residents to join in, making it not just a performance but an immersive experience. As residents filled the seats, they enjoyed a break from routine with a delightful and colorful celebration of movement, culminating in warm applause and appreciation for the performers.

The Residents fill the seats And What Interests the Residents • Something other than a movie for a Sunday afternoon • Watching a live demonstration of dancing • Interaction with the outside world
The Introductions • First, Mike gives an introduction • Next Naomi introduces the group • Before each dance, Naomi gives a short synopsis of the lyrics • In fact, before doing S’ana (capital of Yemen) she includes the audience in the dance by instructing them on arm movements
And The Dancing Begins The Cherry Hill group circles and circles, goes inside and out, dances into the circle and dances outside to the audience For the residents, It is a sea of Black and Blue
And the residents are on their way The dancing ends with a round of applause And a word of thanks A different Sunday afternoon at BrithSholom House. A live demonstration as opposed to a movie.
