  2. 1. Keep Your Personal Info Confidential- Avoid giving any personal information to the driver. It is the fact that mobile application taxi drivers are able to contact you anytime; they do not have your actual phone number. All contact occurs through the appsystem.2. Confirm Your Driver and Car before Getting in- You can always confirm your driver name and check vehicle number before taking a cab. Your driver sees your first name in their app, and your driver’s first name is displayed to you in your app. But for riding safely always confirm driver name and vehicle number.3. Sit in the back side- Whenever possible; sit in the back seat, especially if you are riding alone. This helps that you can safely exit on either side of the vehicle. It gives you and your driver some space.

  3. 4. Always wear your seat belt- Seat belt use is the most effective way to save lives and reduce injuries related to car crashes, accident. Just because you are in sitting backside does not mean that you’re at less of a risk of being in an accident. • 5. Share your trip details with your friends- Always share your ride details like driver’s name, photo, location, etc with your family members or friends. Many mobile applications provide a feature to share your trip status with your friends/ family members. They will receive a notification that tracks your trip.

  4. 6. Know you’re surrounding- If you’re new in the city or area, make sure to track your route on your own maps app in mobile to ensure the driver is following the correct route. If the driver is not taking the correct route then you instruct him on directions. By doing this, you make a point that you know your route well. • 7. Request your ride inside- Minimize the time that you are standing outside by yourself with your phone. Instead, book a cab in advance until your app shows that your driver has arrived. • 8. Be kind and respectful- Always respect other passenger and your driver and their car. • 9. Don’t doze off in cab- Try not to fall asleep especially when you are taking a cab after a party or when you are drunk.
