Summary This book expresses one of the greatest dictators of all time. It states Napoleon’s accomplishments and mistakes. The main idea of this book is to show that he was one of the greatest leaders of France ever to live. This is proven by events in his life. These events include how hedefeated many lands such as Austria and Egypt. Napoleon was knownas a great leader in France’s history. Under Napoleon’s dictatorship, France’s Empire grew to it’s largest size in history. One of his greatest accomplishments is that he founded the Code Napoleon, a group of laws in which France has adapted and is still in use today.
