What is KISSY? • KISSY is an abbreviation for the German • Kraftwerksinformationssystem – • which means: Power plants information system a database managed by VGB, which is an European association an information system for thermal power plants multilingual: Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Danish an online evaluation tool It is possible to analyse component experiences

  3. Basis are harmonized terms • Basis of every collaboration is a common understanding. Therefore VGB • defines performance indicators, terms, descriptions • and the necessary calculation-formulas • fixes rules for the data collection and • edits booklets to publish the results

  4. Basis are harmonized terms • Objective is to harmonize • the understanding of those defined indicators • the data collection of the input data • the calculation of the indicators and statistics and • the use of those indicators

Which data are collected in KISSY? • Information of the Utility (fixed data like adresses,etc.) • Information about the Power Plant Unit • Components ▪ Boiler ▪ Steam Turbine • Via • online input (single data or corrections) or • csv-import (masses of data) ▪ Gas Turbine ▪ Generator • Availability data • Unavailability Incidents
