Our study gathers insights through a survey involving 100 participants (56 males and 44 females), exploring influences like peer pressure, parental smoking, and media exposure. Key findings show varying relationships between smoking and alcohol consumption, alongside demographic insights on age and gender. The purpose is to enhance understanding of smoking initiation motivations to inform prevention strategies.

We Chose this to give us a better understanding of why an individual would begin smoking. There are several reasons why a person would begin to start smoking, but we have chosen what we believe to be the five most significant reasons why an individual would start.
