Comprehensive Analysis of Network Monitoring Tools: Nagios, Shinken, and Icinga

This project provides an in-depth comparison of three leading network monitoring solutions: Nagios, Shinken, and Icinga. We examine their performance, usability, and scalability, while conducting extra feature testing for usability. With setbacks like power outages and hardware limitations, we've configured these tools within our environment and developed a deep familiarity with their capabilities. Aimed for completion this semester, we plan to enhance our infrastructure, upgrade to Atom servers, and implement virtualized clients to ensure robust network monitoring.
