  4. The Processing Panels • “Project Epoc” has several sensors to detect brain signals that feeds to three software processing panels: the Emotiv panel, the Affectiv panel, and the Cognitiv panel.

  5. The Processing Panels • Emotiv Panel- Used to mimic user’s facial expressions • Affectiv Panel- Used to detect certain motions or levels of interest • Cognitiv Panel- Used to control the movement of a virtual object

  6. Benefits of “Project Epoc” • Picks up conscious and non-conscious emotions • Physicians can monitor brain activity without surgery to diagnose mental illnesses and levels of depression • Create high levels of competition -television, market research, and security
