Working in pairs or groups, participants will discuss the essential tasks and required skills for each role. Each group will produce a Job Specification outlining the role title, main responsibilities, necessary skills, and personal qualities needed.

Activity 2: Writing Job Descriptions Learning intention • We will write job descriptions for each of the production roles within the Moscars project. Success criteria • Our job descriptions will show the duties and responsibilities associated with each production role so that everyone understands what they will be expected to do.
Activity 2: Writing Job Descriptions In groups or pairs discuss what is involved in each of the production roles for your Moscars film. Try to identify the different duties as well as the skills and responsibilities. For each role, draw up a Job Specification which shows: • Title of the role (eg, Producer) • The main duties or responsibilities • The skills required • The personal qualities required
