  3. Course Development Progress • Course Design – Writing • 45 Total Lessons • 57% Completed and sent to development – 26 Lessons • 11% final stage of writing – 5 Lessons • 7% initial stage of writing – 3 Lessons • 11 lessons remaining

Course Development Progress • Course Development – Technical • 46 Total Lessons • 26 lessons have been sent to development • Beginning to review the online lessons • Working through punch lists • Moving faster; more efficient • Technical Meeting in April • open source software package • database • course package

  6. Budget Update • Total– $747,309 • $240,000 – Encumbered • Salaries • Contractors – Technical, Writers, Editors, etc. • $40,000 - Balance • -15,000 – Used for overages/edits • -5,000 – Used for Spring Pilot Teacher Training • -5,000 – Used for Summer School Training

  9. Piloting – Phase 2 • Invitedthe five teachers who completed the pre and post survey to continue • Meeting on March 1st to provide face to face training • Piloting Units 3-6 between now and May 31st

  10. Summer School 2011 • Plan is to have the course ready to be implemented by July 1, 2011 • Hand pick summer school teachers and provide training in late June • Tentative – based on funding
