Course Guide is a fully searchable online course catalog of all possible offerings at UW-Madison that provides course information to students and advisors for use when planning and selecting courses for enrollment at UW-Madison. Filters allow users to view the courses scheduled for a current or upcoming term as well.

  4. Course Guide Portlet:Found on Student Services tab in My-UW

  5. Course Guide – Find Courses

  6. The course results provide valuable information at a glance: • Course Title • Course Description • Pre-Reqs • Level, Breadth, Honors • Open to 1st Year

  7. Add Courses to a Plan

  8. Course Guide Degree Planner

  9. Create a Scheduleusing Schedule Planner

  10. Schedule Planner – Getting Started

  11. Scheduler Start Page in Student Center

  12. Select Term

  13. Add Courses – individual selection

  14. Add Courses – Course Guide Planner

  15. Add Breaks

  16. Additional Course Filters – View/Edit

  17. Select Courses and Breaks to include, then ‘Generate Schedules’
