  2. Outcome:Develop a Teacher Training Manual- Titled: Keep the Environment Green.

  3. Objective:Research on the impact of using plastic bagsprovide awareness on the impact of using plastic bagsRecycle the usage of plastic bags to create new products

  4. Theme: Keep Green

  5. Time Frame of Resource Development- Training Manual1.December-2012 start2.June -2013-Finish

  6. Brief Description The training manual will be targeting the preservice and in-service teachersIt will be a resource that the teachers will use to teach the topics on Environment. It will have sample Units of work, complete with activities and assessment.The manual will capture concepts of ESD Inclusive Education through addressing the concepts presentable in a teachable unit of work.

  7. Continue:Students from Cambodia and PNG will learn to see the dangers of plastics and discourage the use of plastics in their schools and communities.(At the moment the target is the teachers.)

  8. Trainee students-Grouping.Students in Cambodia and Papua New Guinea will start this program. Students will work in little communities they come from.

  9. Continue:They will then share their work with their class. The results will be shared with the teachers and students from both countries. This will enhance the student learning.

  11. PBL Implementation Identify resources to be used;Identify resource personals; eg: Teacher Trainers/Lectures etcDo a specification;Do an outline;Conduct writing workshop(1week)

  12. Continue:Working Draft;Consult drafts with teachers, trainers and lectures etc;Analyze & Incorporate findings;Final Draft Teacher Training Manual;

  13. Preparing for TOT-(Trainer of Trainers)-Identify personals who will be trainers;-In-house training for TOT;-Plan for TOT target groups;

  14. Continue:-Facilitate TOT at National level;-Facilitate TOT at Provincial level;-Facilitate TOT at District level, school level and classroom level by those who were trained.

  15. Strategies to link the two countries -Telecollabration;-Websites-Emails-Telephone

  16. Monitoring & EvaluationMonitoring implementation of the Training Manual through prepared questionnaires.
