The USDA RBEG grant provides essential technical assistance to small specialty crop farmers aiming to expand their profit centers and establish three on-farm food hubs. This initiative seeks to retain at least 60 farm jobs while connecting farmers with larger institutional buyers, including schools, universities, and hospitals. In addition to these efforts, an online management system will be created to streamline operations.
