  7. Johanna-Wittum-School • A vocational high school • 1300 students and 137 teachers • Founded in 1973 Our school is specialized in 3 different branches:Biotechnology, Nutritional Science with Chemistry and Social Sciences.

  8. Johanna-Wittum-School We are among the first four biotechnological high schools in Germany which were founded in 2001/02. We are equipped with two security labs for genetic engineering experiments on level one (S1-lab).

  9. Johanna-Wittum-School JWS is a competence center for regional teacher education in the field of biotechnology.

  10. International Contacts JWS has established intensive relationships with: • National and international partner schools also in China and the USA • The German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg • The company Roche in Basel, Penzberg and Mannheim
