ABSTRACT • Tools links is an application which provides services to both technical and nontechnical people. • This provides an interface to access almost all kinds of calculators and converters. • This also provides some basic information about almost every topic of science and technology. • The main purpose of this application is to provide the tools like calculators and convertors at a single place. • Tools links is also called as “Tech Helper”.

INTRODUCTION • Tools links is a web application which has almost all the technical information, formulae. • It also provides converters ,calculators and information about them at a place. • Users should be able to use these conversion tools with ease. • By using this application users can get useful information before performing their required conversions and calculations.

OBJECTIVE • Earlier, the calculations are to be made manually and there’s no single platform where one can find all the required information about any topic of science and technology. • Various tools were available but not at single place. • Accessing the tools was also a difficult job for non-technical people.

  5. PURPOSE • This web application is very much useful to the students as well as nontechnical people. • By using this application users can perform conversions and calculations very easily. • Operations are performed by just entering the value. • It also provide basic information about those tools and technologies.

EXISTING SYSTEM & DISADVANTAGES • Existing system was the manual system. • In this manual system user must perform operations by remembering corresponding formulae. • This doesn’t provide any information about the tools which is desired by user. • There is a problem for users to perform operations by their own. DISADVANTAGES: • No reliability. • Problems with remembering formulae. • High error rate. • User should perform whole work. • Difficult to compute.

PROPOSED SYSTEM & ADVANTAGES • In proposed system, all the operation which are desired by the user are performed by the system itself. • The user just need to enter the values on which he/she wants to perform the calculations. • The system takes the value as input and perform required calculation. • The result is displayed instantly on screen. ADVANTAGES: • High reliability. • High accuracy. • Less effort. • Less time to compute.

  9. MODULES • In proposed system we have two modules: 1. Admin 2.User ADMIN FUNCTIONALITIES: • Admin controls the whole system. • He maintains all the information about the technologies and conversion tools. • He can add users to access this application. • He can insert, modify and delete new tools as well as description about new technologies.

  10. User Functionalities • After registering of user he can access the system. • He can perform calculations which he wants. • He can also know about new technologies. • He can compute all operations accurately with in a less time.

CONCLUSION • Tech helper is a core component built to help the users to make all kinds of scientific calculations and conversions. • Users can also get some basic information about some prominent topics of science and technology. • Moreover, this application was developed in such a way that any further modifications needed can be easily done like when there’s any technology upgrade.

  20. FUTURE ENHANCEMENTS In future we are planning to • Provide Software as downloadable file on user’s request. • Add some sample programs wherever required and an interface to execute the sample programs which helps the user to have a more clear understanding of it.
