  3. Purpose of Today’s Session To share information in four (4) critical areas for districts considering upgrading from the legacy STIOffice & STIDistrict applications to InformationNOW

Data Conversion • A high quality data migration from STIDistrict to InformationNOW, is essential to a successful implementation. • One of the most significant factors impacting the quality of the data migration is the current state of the data. • Since each school has their own STIOffice database, it’s important to review the data prior to the conversion. • STI provides a tool that accomplishes this review and identifies areas that may need attention prior to the data conversion. • This tool is called the Pre-Processor.

  9. Pre-Processor—Duplicate Contacts Important Note:Logic built into conversion routine to automatically consolidate contact records, IF the following condition exists: If the name matches exactly, AND, the address or phone number matches.

  10. Pre-processor output may be generated multiple times. Allows districts to use transition to cleanse data. Cleaner data from conversion results in more effective training. Pre-Processor—Advantages
