AUSA Legislative Agenda Your Voice on Capitol Hill -- Recent Successes • Reserve Component access to TRICARE (including grey area retirees) • Protect Service members from predatory lending • Funding Army Reset • Funding Army Procurement War-essential items • Enhancing Life Insurance benefits • Increased FTM including Technicians for both Guard and Reserve • Continue decreasing the “pay gap”       

AUSA Legislative Agenda Will continue to work for: • Closing the pay gap • Further reduce the age for RC retirees to receive pay and benefits • Increased Total Army end strength to 700,000 • Full Concurrent Receipt for all disabled retirees • No increases in TRICARE fees/deductibles • Fill 100% of ARNG and USAR FTM positions

Examples of Local Chapter Support -- Continued • Funding and presenting three $1,000 scholarships annually • Grant program for individuals or FRG’s • Major financial sponsor of Hire a Veteran job fair • Sponsor at least one Army Birthday party each year • Honor outstanding Soldiers and NCO’s each year at our Soldier and NCO breakfast • Pay for tickets at various events at the Annual Meeting for Soldiers that can attend • Sponsor and put on a Christmas Party at VA Medical Center for the patients
