CH2M HILL Programmes Civil Nuclear Power ProgrammeClient: Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation • Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates • Programme Scope • Managing Agent for the development of a Civil Nuclear Power Programme in the UAE. • Our Role • Full service Programme Management for new build reactor • programme with first commercial operations in May 2017. • Selection and management of a Prime Contractor that encompasses reactor technology, constructor, and plant operator. • Site characterisation for multiple sites for potential reactor fleet. • Construction and Operational License of reactors as well as environmental permitting. • Development of governance methods (policies, requirements, processes and procedures) for nuclear utility and Programme Management. • Infrastructure master planning and coordination with national infrastructure providers to ensure that essential systems are in place to support commercial operations. • Mentoring and training of ENEC staff to develop key people and overall infrastructure for sustained management of the enterprise.
