Leveling the Playing Field: Enhancing Physical Activity for Canadians with Varying Abilities

This initiative focuses on promoting physical activity among Canadians of all abilities, highlighting the significant barriers faced by individuals with disabilities. With statistics indicating that over 50% of Canadians with disabilities do not participate in leisure time physical activity, we aim to provide strategies and resources to facilitate accessible programming and services. The project addresses attitudinal, physical, and systemic barriers, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to engage in healthy, active living.
